Please can you text asap if you need to change or cancel your appointment.
If you sick a few days before the appointment its very unlikely you will be well enough and by giving me more time it means I can try and find someone to cover that appointment.
Please note I do not see anyone with cold or flu type symptoms, you will be asked to leave if you have a cold as I need to protect myself, my business and my other clients.
If you need to cancel or change your appointment I require 48 hours notice whenever possible.
You are also required to put you details in correctly and reply to the text I send the day before.
If you are unwell on the day of your appointment please text by 9am
My booking system sends out emails 24 hours before and I now will be texting every client the day before, please reply to this text.
This is because of the extremely high levels of cancellations, the week of the 17th - 23rd Feb I had 9 same day cancellations that I could not cover. 3 out of the 9 simply said they forgot the booking, despite my website emailing 24 hour before appointment and me texting the day before asking for a confirmation that I never received:( If I had I could have offered these appointments to other clients or sorted the day so I didn't have 3 hours between clients.
This puts my small business at extreme risk of closing.
After 15 years of running a small business I have never felt at risk of closing as I do atm, with costs rising I'm doing my very best not to put my prices up, but to do this I need people to give me as much notice on cancellations. I totally get it happens and it happens both ways as I have to cancel sometimes too.
